A Brief History
Cricut machines have been around for several years starting with the Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter which was released in 2006. This machine, created by Provo Craft & Novelty, changed the game for Scrapbookers everywhere because they no longer had to rely on their local craft stores to make dies for their crafting projects and could instead make them at home.

When it comes to why this machine has been receiving so much praise, it’s mostly due to it’s amazing features such as it’s ability to cut and write at the same time as well as the user being able to upload their own images and fonts via design software on a PC, Mac or iOS device.
Other outstanding features of the Cricut Explore One includes it’s ability to cut over 100 different types of materials to include paper, vinyl, leather and wood!
